A fun fact about me: I didn’t get my ears pierced until I was in my 20s. Despite getting a tattoo and belly button piercing before that. Except when I finally decided to do it… I got a little addicted. So when Studex invited me to America’s Beauty Show to get another piercing with my friend, I jumped on the chance.
America’s Beauty Show was HUGE and there were so many amazing brands to see. But we decided to spend most of our time at the Studex booth because… PIERCINGS!
I already had one cartilage piercing, but I decided to get my double helix done and my best friend, Amy, decided to get doubles, too! We even got matching earrings. We are just so adorable.
If you are thinking about getting cartilage piercings, I am here to say it doesn’t hurt as much as people think it will. Both Amy and I were shocked at how quick it was and it really just felt like a strong pinch. It then feels like your ear heats up a bit and it’s pretty sore for about a week. But on day 4 I was able to sleep on that side!

I’ve always wanted my Industrial pierced but I’m such a baby LOL. I always thought about getting my nose pierced but then I don’t know how it would feel with something sticking inside my nose. LOL

Lol!! The ear didn’t hurt too bad, so I’d recommend it. It’s honestly just more sore than anything after, not painful.
